6 Amazing YouTube Channels for Fitness, Inspiration, and Entertainment
Where Did You Discover Your Passion for Fitness?
Everyone has a story about how they discovered their passion for fitness. I flirted with yoga and running in high school. A few years later, I dedicated myself to a half-hour of Pilates every day after work. When I got pregnant, I felt so sick that exercise was the last thing on my mind. During my third trimester, I fell prey to exciting infomercials touting fun and effective exercise equipment and programs. I knew I didn't want to be the mom who used my son as an excuse for being out of shape.
After my doctor cleared me to exercise, I hopped on the fitness bandwagon. I enjoyed experimenting with different programs at home and working out at the gym. My favorite cardio machine was the elliptical, and I ended up purchasing a Gazelle so that I could have an affordable dupe right at home.

There is no shortage of fitness channels, and there seems to be one to suit everyone's tastes.

2. The Studio by Jamie Kinkeade
I have always loved dancing. I took lessons when I was a little girl and then again in college. Nowadays, I enjoy turning up my '90s jams and dancing around the house, much to the embarrassment of my teenager. Dancing is in my blood, and I find myself gravitating toward dancer-inspired workouts. This is what led me to discover Jamie Kinkeade.
Her channel is full of dance workouts, some just for fun and others to help motivate you. You don't have to be a dancer to enjoy them; Jamie makes it easy for everyone to follow along. In addition to dance, there are also videos devoted to strength and toning. Her studio team is amazing, and after every workout, I find myself smiling and feeling good. Doing one of her exercise videos feels like working out with your best friends. Check out The Studio by Jamie Kinkeade to see for yourself!

I love Kyra for the same reasons stated above. Basically, I just want to dance! Kyra has a variety of videos available on her channel, from dancing to show tunes or popular songs to completing strength and toning work. There's always a little warm-up before each workout, as well as a cool-down afterward.
Kyra's energy is infectious! Even during the toughest moves, she's smiling and encouraging you to keep moving. Her workouts are always short and sweet, perfect for busy lifestyles. If you want to feel good and work up a sweat, give her channel a try!

Whenever I have an issue or I'm looking for preventative options, I seek out Jeff's channel. He has a variety of videos available, and what I love most is how he explains the science and physiology behind it all. This is a channel everyone needs to be watching!
